IT | “Scopri il Veneto di Veronese” e’ l’iniziativa che riporta in Veneto i capolavori di Paolo Caliari detto il Veronese, i quali nel corso dei secoli presero la via dell’Europa e degli Stati Uniti. Da Verona a Padova, da Castelfranco Veneto a Bassano del Grappa, da Vicenza a Venezia per scoprire i colori del Veneto attraverso i tratti di uno dei piu’ grandi maestri del Rinascimento.
“Veronese nelle terre di Giorgione” e’ l’evento che il Museo Casa Giorgione dedica al grande pittore aprendo al pubblico venerdi’ 12 settembre e visitabile fino all’11 gennaio 2015. La mostra evidenzia la stretta collaborazione tra il Veronese, Zelotti e Canera durante i lavori di affrescatura di Villa Soranza. Una costruzione andata totalmente perduta ad inizio ‘800 subito dopo la caduta della Serenissima, i cui affreschi furono fortunosamente staccati e salvati da un destino ingrato pochi anni prima. La mostra presso il Museo Casa Giorgione prevede inoltre un itinerario dedicato al “Trionfo della Decorazione in Villa”, che si estende a Villa Barbaro di Maser affrescata dal Veronese stesso, a Villa Emo di Fanzolo affrescata dal Zelotti e a Villa Chiminelli interamente decorata da Benedetto Caliari fratello del Veronese.

Its pieces of arts over the centuries made their way to Europe and to the United States. From Verona to Padua, from Castelfranco Veneto to Bassano del Grappa, from Vicenza to Venice discover the colors of the Veneto through the features of one of the greatest Renaissance master.
“Veronese in the lands of Giorgione” is the event that Museo Casa Giorgione dedicates to the great painter and it runs from Friday, September 12th to January 11th 2015. The exhibition highlights the close cooperation among Veronese, Zelotti and Canera, when working on frescoes at Villa Soranza. The building went totally lost at the beginning of 19th century just after the fall of the Venetian Republic. Luckily few years earlier its frescoes were removed and saved from being lost for ever. The exhibition at the Museo Casa Giorgione also offers an itinerary dedicated to the “Triumph of Decoration in Villas” including Villa Barbaro in Maser frescoed by Veronese himself, Villa Emo in Fanzolo frescoed by Zelotti and Villa Chiminelli entirely decorated by Veronese’s brother Benedetto Caliari.
